Small Groups, Big Results
Our small Group Pilates Classes at Centered Studio Pilates in San Leandro, CA, offer the perfect balance of personalized attention and community support.
Each class is designed to help you strengthen, stretch, and restore through functional, mindful movement. With a maximum of seven clients per class, you’ll always receive individual guidance and effective instruction while benefiting from the shared motivation and energy of the group environment.
Our Teachers use the Pilates Reformer, Tower, Mat, and Props to create classes that are as enjoyable as they are effective — helping you build mobility, core strength, and confidence in every class.
New to Pilates? Start with Private Sessions First
To ensure every client’s safety and success, new clients begin with at least three Private Equipment Sessions before joining a Group Class once they have completed their complimentary consultation. In those sessions, we’ll teach you the fundamentals of the Pilates method, proper equipment setup, and modifications that fit your unique body. This foundation helps you feel comfortable and confident in a group setting — and ensures you get the most from every class.

Reformer Class
A dynamic, full-body workout that primarily uses the Reformer, but may incorporate the Tower, mat, and small props for strength, stability, and flexibility. The Reformer is a sliding carriage attached to a metal frame with springs of various tensions. This allows for a low-impact strengthening class carefully balanced to challenge your core, improve posture, and leave you feeling centered and strong.

Tower Class
This class uses the Pilates vertical spring Tower attached at the end of the Reformer with a solid piece placed over the Reformer to create a raised mat. This class also incorporates mat exercises and the use of small props. You’ll experience a mix of strength-building and stretching movements with emphasis on standing exercises designed to improve balance and dynamic posture.

Osteo Class
Ideal for those focused on bone health, stability, and intentional strengthening for active aging. This class focuses on increasing bone density, improving balance, and building strength in a low-impact, functional way — perfect for older clients managing osteopenia/osteoporosis or spine sensitivity.

Jump Class
A lively, cardio-infused Reformer Class using the jumpboard (trampoline attached to the Reformer springs) for low-impact, high-energy movement. It’s fun, challenging, and excellent for boosting endurance while staying gentle on the joints. This Class is designed for intermediate level clients that are free from injury and experienced on the Reformer.
