 LINZEY WALKER
Instructor

Linzey has always been a kinesthetic learner. She has a B.A. from UNC-Asheville in Women’s Deconstruction and Corporeal Theory along with a Master of Liberal Studies through the University of MN, Twin Cities with emphasis in: Corporeal Theory, Performance, Pedagogy and Gender Studies. Her love for teaching has expanded across all fields and into diverse populations. With a background in social work and education and a passion for healing/holistic health, she has found training and teaching to be much more effective at changing lives because of the direct impact teaching creates.

She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Association of Sports Medicine and a Women’s Fitness Specialist. In training others, she found that balance, stability and core strength were almost consistently areas that needed improvement amongst all populations; this realization led her to pursue Pilates. Linzey is certified in Mat and Reformer and trained in Cadillac through STOTT PILATES®. She has a knack for pushing people while avoiding injury and making the workout a fun and playful experience. She loves (amongst many things): cats, swimming and laughing so hard it hurts.

RAQUEL STRATTON
Instructor

Raquel first fell in love with Pilates in 2008. Pilates helped her take control of her life, become more active and live without pain. Overtime she gained flexibility, confidence and strength. After each and every session, she always felt significantly better. She’s also fascinated with the history of Pilates and the founder Joseph Pilates.

After many years of practicing and getting addicted to Pilates, Raquel began Instructor training with STOTT PILATES® in September 2017 so she can share her love of Pilates with the world. She wants to teach others how to tap into their body awareness, build confidence and be comfortable in their own bodies. She hopes to inspire others that Pilates is for anybody, from beginner to advanced, no matter what your background is.

Raquel anticipates certification by Fall 2019. She is trained in Level 1 Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair & Barrels.

She is also a certified community coach and offers consulting in various areas.

RACHEL MAAS
Instructor

Rachel first fell in love with Pilates in 2013 when she went to college and realized the freshman 15 is real and she needed to workout. Originally a more fitness based background, she was taking CrossFit and HIIT classes without realizing why she was getting injured. Reformer helped Rachel to understand how to engage her core and prevent injury through core stability and muscle coordination. Rachel was comprehensively certified through Balanced Body in 2015 and loves the versatility of Pilates for post-rehab, stretch based, and fitness based sessions.
